I've always loved photography, even as a child I was always taking pictures every chance I got. Somehow, the thought to grown up and be a photographer never actually accrued to me. My plan was to be a vet or biologist. I ended up with a career in military/law enforcement for a few years until I decided to become a stay-at-mom. I have a wonderful husband and seven great kids. At some point I began taking pictures of the kids and then of other families.

That passion has now grown into serving other families fulltime. In 2014 I took the leap into photography. I now have a dream job really. My areas of interest are maternity, birth, newborn, children, and family. I pride myself on my patience, which probably comes from having a large family, and really investing my care and time into each family. I love to try new things, being unique (be you), and just getting creative. I really want to hear/see your vision of the session and make that come to life. To capture all those special and fleeting moments. Not just posing for the camera, but really seeing those in-between moments. Every little thing that makes you a family, that's what I want to see. 

When I'm not taking pictures, I'm being a very busy mama to my kids, including homeschooling the younger ones. My family enjoys spending plenty of time together. We go with my pastor husband to church events, visit new hiking trails, and spend time in the yard with our animals. I love being outdoors in nature and I find that most kids prefer that on sessions. Whether we are outside at a park or inside your home, I want your session to be special.
