Be prepared for your new addition to your family!  These tiny little bundles can seem very overwhelming at first.  No worries!  We've got you covered!

This three hour class will get you feeling so much more prepared to meet your new family member.  

What can we expect to learn?

Your baby care class will cover all the basics of what to do when you bring your new little one home.

Topics covered include:
Breastfeeding- How to get the most out of breastfeeding your baby and/or pumping?
Sleeping- What is normal?  What is not?  What should I expect with sleeping? What is safe sleep?
Soothing- What to do when your little one doesn't agree with something?
Home Safety- How do you keep your baby safe at home?
Car Seat Safety- Do you know the latest car seat safety information?

What else do I need to know?

This class is offered with LAYC in Washington, DC for DC Residents aged 11-24.

There is no cost for this class but space is limited. 

You will receive a meal, childcare (if needed) and a gift card for participating!
