Junior Doula Program

Offering discounted, free, and low-cost labor and birth support from our renowned birth doula team. FOR A LIMITED TIME! Prices start at $599. Receive unbiased, evidence-based support from doulas with a Senior Birth Doula mentor on your birth team. A Free Birth Doula may be possible for Medicaid recipient families. Currently, at least 20% of our clients receive birth and postpartum services at no cost to them. 
​We believe every birthing person should be afforded the ability to have continuous, effective birth support. We offer low-cost childbirth education (including breastfeeding classes), and birth + postpartum doula support for families.

Our Junior Doula Program uses a combination of low-cost doula services and also community donations of support in order to run our program. In order to help as many families in need as we can, costs begin at a low price of $599 for an aspiring birth doula from our team to attend your birth. We aim to offer birth support to all birthing people regardless of finances. As such, when available, our Sliding Scale Program can offer a reduced fee for birth support that you can trust.
What is a Doula?
  • Doula:  pronounced: "doo-la"
  • A   doula is a woman experienced in childbirth who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support   to a birthing person before, during, and after childbirth.  Doulas can   assist laboring people  with comfort measures such as breathing, relaxation, massage, movement, and positioning. 
  • Doulas do not offer medical advice but may   facilitate positive communication between the healthcare provider and client.
  • Doulas can help both partners and providers to address and consider the woman's emotional needs, questions, and fears.   Doulas respect patient self-determination and act in an impartial and supportive manner.  They follow a code of ethics and respect patient confidentiality.
