Twins can bring on a whole new set of fatigue. One newborn baby typically wants to be fed every hour to three hours. Parents expecting a first baby or set of twin babies usually are most concerned about when they will be able to sleep. When you get home, we can help you get the necessary rest and support needed to make the difference in your healing. The key to navigating life with twins is to get organized and have the right support --- especially in those early days.
We provide daytime and overnight newborn, twin expert care that ultimately helps families get the sleep they need, help establish a healthy routine for sleeping and feeding, and ensure good sleep for all. Yes, it is totally possible with twins, too!
We are known for being twin experts. Many of our families have been with us for twin support for six months or longer.
Care can include:
Your Twin Expert can easily provide you with step-by-step instruction of care for your newborns such as how to swaddle your babies, proper cleaning and sterilizing bottles and pump parts, and offer tips to soothe your babies.
We provide daytime and overnight newborn, twin expert care that ultimately helps families get the sleep they need, help establish a healthy routine for sleeping and feeding, and ensure good sleep for all. Yes, it is totally possible with twins, too!
We are known for being twin experts. Many of our families have been with us for twin support for six months or longer.
Care can include:
- Bathing as needed
- Diapering and holding
- Changing your babies
- Soothing and nurturing
- Wash and sterilize bottles, pump parts, pacifiers, etc.
- Circumcision & umbilical cord care
- Bottle preparation , washing and storage
- Bottle feeding (Breastmilk and/or Formula)
- Communication with lactating parent to help schedule feeds and transport babies back and forth to and from (when feeding overnight)
- Organizing the nursery
- Newborn laundry (washing, folding, and putting away)
- Help create a regular feeding schedule
- Assist in establishing healthy sleep habits
- Keep nursery tidy and stocked
- Maintain a log that tracks feeding times, ounces, diapers, and anything else parents may need to know.
- Help ensure a smooth transition for the family during the newborn stage (birth-3 months)
- Help assist with feeding issues baby may have
- Recommend an experienced pediatrician or IBCLC as needed
- Help troubleshoot potential issues of concern with your newborn
- Offer professional options to resolve concerns before becoming problems
- Teach Infant CPR (when desired)
- Provide a safe and healthy sleep environment for babies at all times
- Sleep Conditioning by using a gentle approach to help your babies develop sleep habits that lead to sleeping throughout the night
- Parent education and emotional support

Our Postpartum Specialists including night nannies, newborn nurses, baby nurses, newborn care specialists, and postpartum doulas, are truly the best in the business. With most of them certified as postpartum doulas through reputable organizations and/or also licensed as registered nurses, our Postpartum Team is well equipped to be entrusted to caring for you and your family. If cost if an issue, we also have Newborn Care Specialists with extensive experience caring for newborns and a strong work ethic coupled with knowledge of normal newborn physiology and standards of care. Our providers provide day or night coverage and can be called upon with little notice, if needed.
All Postpartum care and night time support providers are not created equal. Our Postpartum Specialists including night nannies, newborn nurses, baby nurses, newborn care specialists, and postpartum doulas, are dedicated to ongoing learning and stay knowledgable about safe sleep practices advocated by reputable, national organizations and are armed with information to help you rest easy with a newborn at home. We regularly meet and as a practice, we provide up-to-date information and teaching through classes and workshops to ensure we are all regularly on the same page in regards to the care we provide. We are overnight newborn care experts.
In traditional societies all over the world, new parents are only expected to rest for the first 40 days after childbirth. Current accepted statistics suggest that the average birthing person may need a minimum of 30 days to feel recovered from vaginal childbirth while it could take at least 40 days for relief following cesarean (C-Section). A postpartum doula can enable adequate rest for mom while facilitating effectual bonding with baby. In generations past, family members and neighbors would endeavor to take care of household tasks, chores, and more. Postpartum Specialists including night nannies, newborn nurses, baby nurses, newborn care specialists, and postpartum doulas, are now efficiently a viable, tried and true solution to this role, providing much needed care and support to the new family. Postpartum care & support includes whatever you need it to. For most families, we provide help with newborn care both during the day and overnight. Temporary and long-term live in help is also available around the world. We also specialize in providing help for extended travel abroad with baby. Care and support is based on the specific needs of your family and may include:
- Supporting the entire family by bringing baby to breast for feedings at night
- Bottle feeding, if desired
- Light housekeeping
- Setting up and organizing the nursery
- Baby laundry
- In-person emotional support & education
- Providing and teaching newborn comfort and soothing
- Answering your questions about expected newborn behaviors
- Explaining newborn care
- Facilitating parent-newborn bonding

We are very affordable in comparison to most companies. Further, we offer care by advanced care professionals including registered nurses and certified postpartum doulas. Newborn training is specific and everyone that is in contact with your little one should at a minimum be trained to the specific needs of newborns, be CPR-certified, and also have verifiable experience caring for infants and babies.
